I write and make various kinds of art. Most of my published literary works are in the Thai language, but two story collections have been translated to English and published by the wonderful UK independent Tilted Axis Press. The Sad Part Was was published in 2017 and Moving Parts in 2018. Both collections were translated by Mui Poopuksakul and both won the PEN Translates! Award.
My first feature film, “Motel Mist”, was selected to premiere and compete for the Hivos Tiger Awards at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2016. My second film, “Someone From Nowhere” premiered and competed in the Asian Future section at the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival in 2017.
I was the showrunner and co-writer of Netflix’s 2021 Thai series Bangkok Breaking.
